World Autism Awareness Day On 2th April

World Autism Awareness Day will be seen in Bangladesh, as somewhere else around the world, on Tuesday.

The day will be set apart with a pledge to bring the people suffering from autism and other disabilities into the mainstream of advancement.

The theme of the current year’s Autism Awareness Day is “Assistive Technologies, Active Participation.”

The Ministry of Social Welfare will organize out an occasion at Dhaka’s Bangabandhu International Conference Center, around 10:30am on Tuesday, for the event, as per a press release of the Press Institute Department (PID).

PM Sheik Hasina is scheduled to inaugurate the event.

Social Welfare Minister Nuruzzaman Ahmed will direct the gathering while Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque will address it as a special guest.

State Minister for Social Welfare Sharif Ahmed, member the Standing Committee on Ministry of Social Welfare Rashed Khan Menon, the secretary of the ministry Juena Aziz, among others, will also attend the function.

In the interim, diverse programs will likewise be organized out to observe the day. Blue lights will be lit outside vital government foundations across Bangladesh, and will remain lit till Thursday.

The United Nations General Assembly declared April 2 as World Autism Awareness Day to highlight the need for enhanced initiatives by all to improve the lives of children and adults who suffer from autism.
