Midwest Dreamin’ is a salesforce community-led event. Organized by the following regional User Group leaders who had a dream to bring a ‘Super User Group’ with marquee quality speakers to the Midwest and facilitate learning and collaboration.
The event started on August 7 and continued for three days till August 9. The event is hosted at the historic Palmer House Hilton in Chicago.
The event was a jam-packed conference as claimed for learning Salesforce tips and tricks, checking out apps and networking with other admins and developers. Midwest Dreamin’ began on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 7th, ran a full day on August 8th and ended after half-day Friday, August 9th.
The attendees had their pick of breakouts on a variety of topics from intro-level to advanced, admin to developer. They also had time to visit the expo hall to get demos from the sponsors. There were plenty of opportunities for networking with admins and developers. Kris Lande, Vice President of Trailhead Marketing at Salesforce, Zayne Turner, Principal Developer Evangelist with Salesforce, Kristen Englehardt, Vice President, Customer & Market Insights, Peter CoffeePeter Coffee, VP for Strategic Research at Salesforce, and Sean Alpert, Vice President of Product Marketing at Salesforce were the names listed as the star Keynote Speakers at the event.
The event kicked off with demos at various booths to learn more about our amazing products, the Champions programs, and more. The program had its own quirky moments as Salesforce Einstein Analytics twitter handle @SForceAnalytics got hold of a cute couple, Sandeesh Phulkar and Komal Kalal for a chat on how they got into Einstein Analytics and how they love working on the platform. The event wrapped up with a trailblazer keynote speaker Martin Cuéllar sharing his thoughts on being a keynote speaker.
